What’s a carbon footprint?

Your carbon footprint is the total amount of greenhouse gases released in the production and consumption of all the goods and services you use. It accounts for the following six green house gas (GHG) emissions:

– Carbon dioxide (CO 2)

– Methane (CH 4)

– Nitrous oxide (N 2O)

– Hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs)

– Perfluorocarbons (PFCs)

– Sulphur hexafluoride (SF 6)

How do we calculate it?

Our streamlined methodology uses targeted questions to collect product data, using straightforward language and user-friendly interface to ease companies into the process. Using the information provided by you, we calculate the emissions generated through the making, using and disposal of your product or business operations (kgCO 2e per product unit). By using highly verified emissions databases and published scientific articles, we ensure these calculations are accurate and reliable.

Umm… cradle to what?

We develop carbon assessments based on a cradle-to-grave product life-cycles. This means we look at all the emissions from the period of raw material extraction to production, use and waste disposal. Not only does it give you a full and thorough understanding of your product life cycle, it can also be really useful in establishing loyalty between your brand or product and your customers as the goal of your product is to keep it in the use cycle as long as possible.
